My mission in my inventive apply is deeply intertwined with my life, they go hand in hand. It’s a lifelong dedication to understanding the world round me and inside me. Social injustices weigh closely on my conscience, given the restricted alternatives for folks with my background…. I really feel a duty to talk up. Advocating towards social injustices, I hope my artwork can perhaps function a voice for these typically unheard.

What did you dream up for the exhibition?
I created an ankle-length coat. The collar and center piece are produced from beige Orlatex, a bio based mostly leather-based substitute; the center half has been smocked to make it elastic and match the waist of the wearer. The sleeves and backside are produced from black curly BioFluff, a bio based mostly fur substitute. I named the coat for Ganni, Lecia, from Danish ’80’s pop-duo Laban, who is among the muses for my upcoming assortment.
